Need a hero? We all do. But where can you find a hero? Who even qualifies as one?

Surprisingly, even the men and women whose stories are recorded in the Bible weren't exactly superheroes. In fact, except for the primary central figure, all the rest were ordinary sinful human beings. And Scripture contains the amazing history of God's redemptive work in their lives.

This new series will focus on eight important men and women found in Scripture. Their experiences are perfect lessons that show us the blessings of surrendering to God in obedience, or the failure that comes from a choice of rebellion. These examples provide practical insights for dealing with issues such as faith, pride, sacrifice, trust, fear, sin and redemption. Each character can be seen as a hero — not because they were perfect, but because they ultimately trusted God. It all leads to Him, because He's the one true Hero we ALL need!
