We value personal relationships very highly at The Rock Church. One of our greatest concerns and commitments is to develop strong families. This has been our heritage and one of our greatest treasures. Because of those desires, our Youth Group follows a Parent-Led Model. The main difference between our Youth Group (and the typical model at most other churches), is that our Youth Group is led and taught by dads — this is no doubt a little different from what you might be used to. That’s okay, new can be good. We feel that this model has had tremendous success and we’re excited to share it with you!

Our Parent-led Youth Group is an excellent way to:

• Learn to share/teach lessons to your teens and others

• Be involved with your teen during significant turning points in their life

• Help them respect godly authority

• Be an example of working hard and having fun

• Share your life with them

• Get knit in with other parents/families working towards the same goals

• Deepen your family life by growing together

Our Youth Group is open to 7 – 12th grade and if you would like a detailed description of our Youth Group vision, we have provided a PDF for you to read through as well as the calendar for the year. Contact pastor Bill Young or Josh Whitney if you have any questions.

Who wants to spend Halloween “just trick-or-treating” (and getting wet if it rains) when you can have WAY more fun joining us at Rocktoberfest! We have a night planned for you that you’re going to love — bring the whole family. We’ll have games, activities, and food trucks! Ladies’ Night Service Project @ The Rock Draper
Nov 11 @ 10:00 am

Operation Christmas Child (& Service Project)

It’s time for our Operation Christmas Child Service Project and we could really use YOUR help! We want to bless as many children as possible and this is where YOU come in. We’re inviting the WHOLE CHURCH to help us by either donating the needed items or donating money to help us buy them. Then, on Saturday, November 11 (10:00 a.m.) the women of The Rock will meet at the church to pack all of the boxes (please bring $10 to cover the shipping cost for one box)! What an amazing opportunity to work together to bless these children across the world!

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
To sign up to donate items, visit our Sign Up Genius Page. You can then bring your items to church any Saturday night or Sunday morning until November 5 (or to the packing event on November 11). To donate cash, please visit our table in the lobby or at the Storefront by November 5. You can also donate online at trc.life/caresfund. Questions? Please contact Susie Jackson at tsjackson6@msn.com.

Ladies’ Night @ The Rock Draper
Nov 20 @ 7:00 pm

Our theme this year is Following God’s Heart.

God’s heart is for you. He wants to know you and help you grow closer to Him and to those around you. His heart is involved in every area of your life and we’re going to be talking about several of those areas at our times together this year. Join us.

Discover who you are in His eyes and how He wants to help you practically navigate the world around you and the relationships in your life. He has something to say. Are you listening?

If you’re eager to learn more about God’s heart and how to follow it, join us. If you long for fellowship with other women, join us. If you’re ready for the Lord to bring some change into your life, join us. Won’t you?
