The Rock Church is a legally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. That means a couple of things. First, it means that every contribution you make is fully deductible to the extent allowed by law. Second, and more importantly, it also means that we function completely and solely on the gifts given to our church.

It's important to understand that giving to The Rock Church is a privilege, not a pain in the neck. It's not a bill to pay. It's not a requirement in order to attend our church or get plugged in to all that's going on. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 9:6-7, "Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." And that's how we hope you'll feel about it.

We give to God because we're so unbelievably amazed at how much He has given to us. That's why it's an honor and privilege to give, which makes it easy to do it cheerfully. For all He's done for us, it's truly the least that we can do for Him.
