Directors and camera operators are needed. The director is responsible for leading the camera operators in fluid synchronization with the PowerPoint, sound, and lighting personnel. Camera operators are responsible for running the video cameras while taking instruction from the director. This is a great ministry if you're creative! Requires one month of training. |

This is your opportunity to help distribute CDs, books, Tshirts, and other Rock paraphernalia. Times of serving are about 45 minutes both before and after the service. It’s a HUGE plus if you’ve had any prior retail experience. It’s also very helpful if you’re a “people” person with a decent knowledge of The Rock and our ministries. A couple weeks of training is required. |

Involves fitting climbing harnesses, belaying the climbers, and providing instruction whenever possible. Climbing and belaying experience is required, and some training is also involved. Belaying skills will need to be tested and approved prior to serving. Times of serving are about 45 minutes both before and after the service. |

There’s power in prayer, and that’s why we have a small group of people who pray during each of our services! You would be scheduled once every couple of months with prayer times occurring during the message — praying for lives to be changed, for people with needs, for upcoming church activities, etc. This is a great way to deepen your prayer life and get closer to other believers! |

Here’s another great opportunity if you’re a “people” person! Involves preparing and handing out programs before the service while greeting everyone with a smile. Should be comfortable approaching complete strangers and engaging in conversation, making them feel welcome and at home at The Rock. It’s a perfect opportunity to introduce visitors to other people and help them get plugged in to our church. After the service, collect the extra programs in order to recycle the shells and inserts. Need to arrive by 6:00. |

I think you already understand the immense importance of coffee at The Rock! There are usually two people preparing the coffee
and another person is responsible for picking up cookies and ice. All three should arrive by 6:00. They work together as a team,
keeping everything stocked for the night, and usually close down and clean up about 45 minutes after the service is over. |

Here’s something that anyone can do! All you really need to do is point cars in the right direction and beat people up if they get out
of hand (OK — maybe not quite that severe). And since we care very much about protecting our Christian sisters as they walk
through city parking lots on dark nights, we prefer that this ministry is handled by the brothers. |

As soon as the speaker is done giving his talk, recording personnel are already fast at work preparing CDs and DVDs of the night’s message. This includes running the duplicating machines, printing labels, selling the discs, etc., and usually extends for about 30 minutes after the service has ended. Minimal training is required. |

Yup, this is just what it sounds like — turning on lights, unlocking doors, placing our signs on street corners, straightening chairs,etc., making sure everything looks good and is ready to go. It typically takes from 5:30 to 6:00 to do the initial set-up, then about another 15 minutes for a few miscellaneous tasks once the service starts. |

If you prefer hanging around until the very end, this is for you! Not a lot of time required, but you do need to wait until everyone leaves before you can turn out all the lights, make sure everyone is gone, lock all the doors, etc. Rarely goes past 10:00 or 10:30. |

This ministry opportunity only occurs once a month and involves the set-up and tear-down of the baptismal font. It’s typically filled with water a day or two in advance for the heaters to start working (so the water is at least a few degrees above freezing), and then emptied right after the service and hauled back to the Sandy building. Would probably be beneficial if you owned a truck. |

The incredible sound we have at The Rock doesn’t just come from expensive equipment. It takes skilled technicians who know what they’re doing, and that’s why it adds so much to The Rock worship experience. Requires about a month of training as well as early afternoon arrivals on Saturday for sound checks. |
