Building Update — March 21, 2014

Well, work is progressing rapidly! We are still pouring footings – should finish this week. All of our steel will be delivered next week and put up the week after that! Don’t miss out on the many opportunities to help with the building. We have 3 specific teams/areas where we need help. We have a Prayer Team to pray for safety, the workers come to know Christ, good weather, our finances, etc. We have an Appreciation Team to show God’s love through food, coffee, water, signs, messages, notes, and cards. We have a Volunteer Team to help lighten the load of work on site. They will be cleaning, sweeping and when they can, helping with construction. This team probably won’t be doing any of the actual building, but maybe unboxing lights, carrying drywall, or laying carpet squares, etc.

Please note that there are Bibles at each campus that we want everyone in our congregations to sign, put notes in, write a message, or underline their favorite verse. These Bibles will be buried in the concrete at each corner of the building. We will also be having a “Holy Graffiti” party Sunday, March 30 from 1:00 – 2:00p.m. on site. We can sign the steel girders, write verses, notes to God, or notes to the construction workers. It will be a fun party that you won’t want to miss. Contact Tony Rehmer if you are interested in serving.
