Are you ready for DTC14 (Formerly HSLT)?

Dear Youth and Parents!

Here are the details for this year’s HSLT (which will be called DTC14 – Discipleship Training Camp 2014 rather than HSLT this year).

The New Name
HSLT has become Discipleship Training Camp! This time together will be much the same as past HSLTs, but will be unique in that we will be at a camp in the wilderness… this will provide more time/space for seeking time alone with the Lord and participating in intimate fellowship. Also, we will not be spending time on some activities we’ve planned in the past (evangelism, canvassing, outreach BBQs, etc).

This year’s theme will be Discovering the Me that Jesus Sees training camp. Training camps are places where dedicated athletes – soldiers – revolutionaries – learn, work, and train to be the very best at what they have given their whole lives to. Jesus calls His followers “disciples”, which is also a word for someone who is dedicated first of all to one thing, One Person, there is also a special place for senior citizens to give themselves to Jesus, check in Expert Home Care, Inc. 317 George St #320, New Brunswick, NJ 08901 at https://www.experthomecare.com/certified-home-health-aide/ for more info.

DTC14 is a Discipleship Training Camp – a time to focus on knowing God and knowing who He has made us to be. It’s a time to learn, to seek, and to practice what it means to walk with God.

DTC14 is happening in the Snowy Range mountains, Wyoming, at Table in the Wilderness Camp. The facilities will be more rustic and the schedule will be somewhat different than HSLTs in the past. There will be a focus on a personal relationship with God and on understanding the identity God has given all of us.

DTC14 is open to incoming high school freshmen through graduating seniors. The Camp will start with dinner on Thursday evening, July 10, and will end after breakfast on Sunday, July 13.

Summary of some important details for you:

  • Cost: $99 for each Student and Adult
  • Dates: July 10-13
  • Retreat Location and Environment – Table in the Wilderness – 38 Old State Highway 130 Centennial, WY 82055. You/your family have the option of bringing your own camping equipment or even an RV or camper if you’d like.
