“Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen” Ephesians 3:20-21
In 1999, The Rock Church’s first service humbly started in Pastor Bill Young’s living room in Sandy, Utah. In 2003, we launched our first church plant in Salt Lake City. In 2007, God sent us off again as we planted a new church in Provo, Utah. The day has now come where God is on the move yet again.

Over the past 12 months, 60 faithful saints and their children have been praying and preparing for the next “big thing” God is doing in our lives. This Friday, Feb 6, there will be another awesome milestone for The Rock Church and for the Kingdom of God! Our newest location will have its Grand Opening on the west side of Salt Lake Valley.

As I sit back and ponder these amazing events, I am in complete awe of what God has done through His local church, and in the lives of His people. It’s almost unbelievable to imagine that what God would start with a couch full of people in a living room, would expand into hundreds and hundreds of people serving along side one another stretching from four locations from Salt Lake City to Provo!

As I meditate on this verse in Ephesians, I am reminded that God has promised to do more with our lives than we could ever ask. He is also able to do more with us than we could ever think or imagine. He is the God of wonders who works through His people throughout all generations!

God is doing amazing things here in Utah! Christian, you are a part of it? As His children, we can expect Him to continue to do amazing things with our lives! Be encouraged and be excited, as He has many more amazing plans in the works.
God is able to do far more amazing things than we could ever imagine!

“To Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”

Amazed,

Bryan
