During the month of May, we’ll be joining Compassion International to speak out on behalf of children living in poverty. Each one of us has an incredible opportunity to sponsor a child in need. You can actually give a child both a future and a hope through the love of this Christ-centered program (run by a local church in that child’s neighborhood). Over the last 60 years 1,800,000 children have had their lives radically changed for the better. Please visit the Compassion Table (in the Lobby before and after all services). You’ll be able to see and read the packets showing the children who need a sponsor right now! Matthew 25:35-36 says, “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me…” Won’t you help?
