The first eleven chapters of Genesis are absolutely vital in properly understanding the rest of the Bible! If we can grasp and accept these chapters at face value, we’ll have no difficulty applying the rest of God’s Word to our lives. This “creation” season of Genesis examines the basis for the entire Bible, including the momentous start of the universe, human history, sin, salvation, sacrifice, marriage, and the family.

part 1: The Creation I
Chapter one of Genesis is a “floodlight” view of the creation account. It tackles the question, “Did God really create the universe in six literal 24-hour periods?” — providing the answers you need to defend the earth as thousands (not millions) of years old.

part 2: The Creation II
Chapter two of Genesis is a “spotlight” account of one particular day of the creation week. Day six is a very important day, because this is when God created all the land animals and the pinnacle of His creation — man. In this message you will learn about the unique geography of the Garden of Eden, man’s free will, and the creation of woman.

part 3: The Corruption
Chapter three of Genesis is probably the saddest chapter in the Bible. It describes how God gave mankind a free will so we could joyfully respond to God’s love. But Adam and Eve chose not to follow God and eventually became the first sinners, bringing dire consequences that still affect us to this day.

part 4: The Condemnation I
In chapters four through eight of Genesis, we encounter the story of Noah. God flooded the earth and destroyed all of mankind except for those in the ark, showing us that He hates sin and must judge it, but that He also loves sinners and knows how to save them!

part 5: The Condemnation II
In this message, evidence for the flood of Genesis is presented in a captivating and convincing manner, utilizing scientific data that supports this catastrophic event as fact.

part 6: The Confusion
In chapters nine through eleven, we take a close look at four lessons from one of the most significant events to take place in all of human history — the tower of Babel.
