When Nehemiah heard that Jerusalem’s walls were in ruins, his heart broke — and that burden became his call. In this message, we’ll learn that courageous leadership begins with caring about what God cares about. Discover how compassion moves us from comfort to action. And how God uses ordinary people with willing hearts to make an extraordinary difference.
Our theme this year is “Courageous Leadership” (Lessons from Nehemiah). God has placed a burden on the pastor’s hearts to help men grow as leaders in our homes and church. Together, we’ll look at examples from Nehemiah. He organized and encouraged people, and artfully handled all opposition. Yet his greatest achievement may have been his loving leadership. The practical lessons our pastors will share from this Old Testament leader are still relevant today.
