I am so thankful that I said yes to Jesus. Best decision I ever made. And I love, love, love it when others say yes to Jesus as well. Just like the man in John 9.
“’Yes, Lord, I believe!’ The man said. And he worshipped Jesus.” — John 9:38
There seems to be absolutely no hesitation in his response. In fact, the yes is immediate, and the worship is instantaneous. It’s as if you can’t have one without the other. The created being, reacting to the Creator God. Together with entering into an intimate and loving relationship forever. Without a doubt, it really is the greatest love story that any of us has ever lived!
I Believe!
All over the world, many people are becoming believers in Jesus right now. Hallelujah! And many of the people visiting our church are often seeking something more in their lives. I always enjoy meeting them. And I get to know them by interacting with them and exchanging questions. Some are curious; a family member, a friend, or a co-worker invited them. At the same time, a few have experienced a significant life event or lost a loved one. Also, many people just started reading the Bible and have questions. Of course, those of us who know the Lord recognize that God is drawing them to Himself. Just as He did for all of us. We are so thrilled, and the angels rejoice when anyone on Earth hears the Gospel and says, “Yes, Lord, I believe!”
“If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” — Romans 10:9
Worship Jesus!
Worship is a believer’s love response to God. The preacher Henry Ward Beecher once said, “I never knew how to worship until I knew how to love.” I think that belief in God and the worship of God are intertwined with the love of God. The believer can’t help but fully submit themself to God in holy adoration.
“But the time is coming — indeed it’s here now — when true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship him that way.” — John 4:23
Saying, “Yes, Lord, I believe!” with all of you,
