    There have been many times in my life where I’ve been tempted to give up on someone.

    I’m sure you’ve been there before, too.

    You’ve watched someone make the same bad decisions over and over. Also, you’ve prayed for them and had hard conversations with them. As well as serving them over and over. And yet… nothing good seems to come from it. 

    They keep jumping back into the same mistakes. Maybe they have started to avoid you. Perhaps they don’t respond anymore. Or they have flat out disappeared.

    To See His Glory is to See His Goodness  — a word by Pastor Steele Croswhite from The Rock Church in Draper, UT. "to see His goodness. To see a God who bends toward sinners with mercy. One who always moves toward the broken with grace."

    Recently, I have been reading a tremendous book called “Gentle and Lowly” by Dane Ortlund. I would highly recommend it to anyone who longs to know the gentle and wonderful heart of God. As I read, a particular section from a familiar passage in Exodus moved me deeply.

    The Lord chose to reveal His name to Moses in Exodus 34:5: “Then the Lord came down in a cloud and stood there with him; and he called out his own name, Yahweh.”
