  1. Pray Them Deeper

Pray Them Deeper — a word by Pastor Bryan D. Edwards from The Rock Church in Draper, UT. "it’s a beautiful thing to watch people fall more in love with Jesus. And it’s even more beautiful when your heart burns to pray them deeper"

“For this reason, because I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love toward all the saints, I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him…” — Ephesians 1:15-17

These verses recently gripped me as I read Ephesians. The Apostle Paul hears that the faith of the people in this church is strong. Their love for one another is obviously the real deal. Election Day — a word by Pastor Josh Whitney from The Rock Church in Draper, UT. "heading into election day, pray, “Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven!” By all means, lead your family in praying"

We specifically covered several important lessons during that time. Here are a few significant reminders as we approach election day.

It says in Jeremiah 29:7, “But seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the Lord on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare.” More Christians voting biblically is a significant way we can bring good to our city, state, and country.

Prayerful — a word by Pastor Billy Johnson from The Rock Church in Draper, UT. "Are you a prayerful person? Most of us would say we have room to grow in prayer. One of the most encouraging aspects of believers’ lives"

Are you a prayerful person? Most of us would say we have room to grow in prayer. One of the most encouraging aspects of believers’ lives is pouring out our hearts to God and watching as He responds. There is absolutely no better way for us to communicate our thankfulness, adoration, desires, or grievances with God than through prayer. Yet, for so many of us, it becomes an afterthought. We can also be robotic or neglect to pray altogether.
