Jesus

Drive by any movie theater and you will get the clear impression that there are lots of superheroes out there. When you think of a hero, who comes to mind? Spiderman or Superman? Peyton Manning or Michael Jordan? John Wayne or Harrison Ford? George Patton or William Wallace? The world has many people who have done awesome things. We've looked at many, many “heroes” of the Bible. We’ll finish our series by examining six reasons that Jesus is our ultimate Superhero and why He alone is worthy of worship, adoration, and allegiance.

From Series: "Jesus is Better Draper"

The stories of the Old Testament can sometimes be unfamiliar to us as Christians. It says in Romans 15:4, "For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope." But, like this verse in Romans states, they were written to instruct us. Join us as we spend 12 weeks studying through a variety of Old Testament characters. Studying their lives in greater detail will both instruct and challenge us. But, it doesn't stop there. These Old Testament characters don't simply instruct and encourage us. They also point (like a big, old laser beam) to Jesus. Jesus is the ultimate example of what it means to live a life of faith. All of these heroes of the Old Testament are ultimately a version of or a picture of Jesus. Join us as Jesus is Better!
