Courage to Build

We live in a time where men are told to be quiet, shrink back, be passive, lazy, neutral, agreeable, or sit on the sidelines. We’re told that conviction is dangerous, truth is offensive, responsibility is optional, and spiritual leadership is outdated. The loudest voices say, “Sit down. Be quiet. Don’t take a stand. Don’t lead. Don’t challenge anything. Just go along.” But God is still looking for men who will stand up, like Nehemiah, and say: “I am doing a great work and I cannot come down.” (Nehemiah 6:3).

From Series: "The Rock Men 2025-26"

Our theme this year is “Courageous Leadership” (Lessons from Nehemiah). God has placed a burden on the pastor’s hearts to help men grow as leaders in our homes and church. Together, we’ll look at examples from Nehemiah. He organized and encouraged people, and artfully handled all opposition. Yet his greatest achievement may have been his loving leadership. The practical lessons our pastors will share from this Old Testament leader are still relevant today.
