In Nehemiah (Chapter 4), we learn that when God is moving, opposition is guaranteed: so, don’t be surprised when ridicule, temptation, and resistance show up. This teaching challenges men to respond like Nehemiah did: pray like it depends on God and act like it’s time to post a guard. Stay faithful, focused, and ready to rebuild what matters most.

Pastor Josh Whitney
Our theme this year is “Courageous Leadership” (Lessons from Nehemiah). God has placed a burden on the pastor’s hearts to help men grow as leaders in our homes and church. Together, we’ll look at examples from Nehemiah. He organized and encouraged people, and artfully handled all opposition. Yet his greatest achievement may have been his loving leadership. The practical lessons our pastors will share from this Old Testament leader are still relevant today.
