Hope in Suffering (1 Peter 1:6-12)

The Apostle Peter understood what it was like to suffer. He also understood that finding hope in the midst of suffering requires a solid foundation; hope needs to be based on Truth. In part two of our series, we will discover four reasons we can have realistic hope in the midst of a hopeless and messed up world. Part Two First Peter — Realistic Hope Series Hope in Suffering (1 Peter 1:6-12) Pastor Bill Young January 9 & 10, 2021 Draper

Scripture References: 1 Peter 1:6-12

From Series: "First Peter"

What a year it’s been! Will things get better? Is there any hope they could? It’s easy for us to believe that things will simply get better than they have been. However, the Word of God teaches us that hope is only found in one source — in Jesus. First Peter teaches us to set our hope fully on the grace of God. Through Jesus Christ we have living hope of an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading. Realistic hope that will transform the way we live.
