Living for God (1 Peter 4:1-6)

In this section of verses, Peter appeals to the reader to make Christ’s sufferings a practical force in their life. We'll learn three keys that will help us practically live for God: keeping our flesh in line, leaving our past behind and letting our light shine. Part 13 First Peter — Realistic Hope Living for God (1 Peter 4:1-6) Pastor Bill Young May 1 & 2, 2021 Draper

What a year it’s been! Will things get better? Is there any hope they could? It’s easy for us to believe that things will simply get better than they have been. However, the Word of God teaches us that hope is only found in one source — in Jesus. First Peter teaches us to set our hope fully on the grace of God. Through Jesus Christ we have living hope of an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading. Realistic hope that will transform the way we live.
