The Incomparable One

What impact has Jesus made in our world? We live in a time where very few consider (or care to answer) that question at all. Some would say His impact is insignificant, archaic and even harmful. Others would claim that Jesus and His followers have been nothing but a roadblock to social advancement; they contribute nothing beneficial today as to what we are experiencing as a culture. Is that true? In this message, we will take a look back through history and see that no one compares to the positive impact Jesus has made in our time, space and history.

What’s the big deal about Jesus anyway? Is He truly The One Christians claim He is? Does Jesus honestly have an impact on our lives today? We live in a world that has global influencers around every corner. From TikTok stars to political leaders, their imprint is worldwide. Because of that influence (and our society’s significant progress socially, economically, technologically and scientifically) it has become very easy for us to ask, “Does Jesus even matter anymore?” Many people think Jesus seems just, well, a bit… outdated. In our new series, “The ___ One” we will clearly see that there has never been another person like Jesus. While He is undeniably controversial (being both hated and loved) no one is more important to our existence. Throughout history, people have sought to “fill in the blank” to describe or categorize His impact. However, of all the leaders, movements and religions in the world, Jesus has had, and continues to hold, the supreme position. Without a doubt, He is The One. Join us for this six-week series as we examine the difference Jesus makes and understand why we can’t live without Him. The ___ One series runs: August 27 to October 2, 2022.
