The Appeal (Acts 24:22-25:12)

Paul is placed under house arrest in Caesarea by Governor Felix. Over the next two years, Paul’s brothers and sisters in Christ minister to him. God gives Paul the opportunity to share with Governor Felix about righteousness, self-control and the coming judgment. Then Paul defends himself against the Jewish men of authority before Festus, the governor. God once again uses Paul’s Roman citizenship to appeal to the most powerful man in the known world, the Caesar of Rome.
