Noah's Flood (Fact or Fiction?): Part One

LESSON #09 // NOAH’S FLOOD: FACT OR FICTION: part 1 — “What Difference Does The Flood Make” Did God really flood the entire earth and kill every breathing creature on it? If the flood of Genesis is an actual event, it is the most significant event in human history, having an impact incalculably larger than any other event on earth. If the flood was real, then it is biggest physical act of God except for the creation itself, orders of magnitude more impacting than anything else in the Bible. In this lesson we will discover the amazing difference the flood made on our planet.

From Series: "God in Creation: Small Group Study"

We’ve been told all our lives that the earth was formed “Millions and millions of years ago.” Even our favorite kid’s books claim that the earth is millions and millions of years old. In this series, Pastor Bill Young presents compelling answers as he questions this claim! Is evolution a fact, theory, belief or religion? Proverbs 18:17 states, “The first to present his case seems right, till another comes forward and questions him.” (NIV) It’s time we stood up for the truth found in the scriptures on this topic! The Goal of this series is to strengthen your faith and give you the tools you will need to defend the Biblical account of creation! The Bible tells us in Hebrews 11:3 “By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible” (NIV) This series will help you to trust in Jesus Christ more and give you much needed confidence in your faith. Think about it, if the beginning of the Bible isn’t true, maybe the rest isn’t!! Satan knows that by denying God’s expressed miraculous account of creation it’s easier to deny his plan of salvation and then the truth of the whole Bible. Join us for this relevant, life-changing journey as we discover “God in Creation!”
