The Core: Character — Perseverance by Pastor Bill Young

Perseverance is defined as “the steady persistence in a course of action or purpose, especially in spite of difficulties, obstacles, or discouragement.” As Christians, we are asked to imitate Jesus, who was the ultimate example of this godly trait. Observing how Jesus displayed steadfast dedication, determination and endurance through extreme difficulties, will help us overcome the challenges we face in this life. In this message, we’ll look at three keys to persevering like Jesus. Discussion Question: Describe some of the greatest fears you face right now. In what way does Jesus model perseverance for you in these situations? The Core Meeting

These times are a monthly, co-ed discipleship meeting with worship, teaching, empowering, envisioning and fellowship — all with the leaders and aspiring leaders of our church.
