The Christian Mind (1 Peter 1:13-16)

In this message, we’ll look at how Christians should think and live in this world. The Apostle Peter shifts gears from reminding Believers about who God is (and what He’s done), to what the application and response should be for Christians. Whether things are good or bad (as the world around us seems to be falling apart) Peter gives us this great instruction. What a year it’s been! Will things get better? Is there any hope they could? It’s easy for us to believe that things will simply get better than they have been. However, the Word of God teaches us that hope is only found in one source — in Jesus. First Peter teaches us to set our hope fully on the grace of God. Through Jesus Christ we have living hope of an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading. Realistic hope that will transform the way we live.
