From Tribulation to Triumph (1 Peter 3:18-22)

Have you ever wondered what happened to Jesus’ Spirit right after He cried out “It is finished!” and breathed His last breath? In Part 12 of our study, the Apostle Peter gives us insight into where Jesus went and what He did in the time between His death and Resurrection. He also encourages his readers that there is triumph in tribulation. Part 12  First Peter – Realistic Hope From Tribulation to Triumph (1 Peter 3:18-22) Pastor Billy Johnson April 24, 25 2021 Draper

Scripture References: 1 Peter 3:18-22

From Series: "First Peter"

What a year it’s been! Will things get better? Is there any hope they could? It’s easy for us to believe that things will simply get better than they have been. However, the Word of God teaches us that hope is only found in one source — in Jesus. First Peter teaches us to set our hope fully on the grace of God. Through Jesus Christ we have living hope of an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading. Realistic hope that will transform the way we live.
