Family of God, A Word from Pastor Steve McInroy of The Rock Church in Utah.

I am so thankful for our Rock Church family. God has been moving in extraordinary ways and it is an absolute privilege to labor with people who have such a deep love for the Gospel.

It reminds me of these verses: “I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always offering prayer with joy in my every prayer for you all, in view of your participation in the gospel from the first day until now.” — Philippians 1:3-5

God has been changing lives through The Rock Church over the last 19 years (in very profound ways). I have personally experienced the power of the Gospel in ways I never knew were possible. The honor of living life with people who are willing to lay down their lives for the cause of Christ is where true life is really found.

I get to be part of a body of believers who are not only willing to get into the trenches, but, also dig the trenches! I sometimes sit back and think, “Oh, my goodness! This is the hand of God.” The “can do” attitude is such a blessing. Week in and week out, preparations are in place for church services, special events, Small Groups, Cares Ministry, missions, evangelism, and so much more. The snow is plowed, the coffee is hot, someone has made “ready” our amazing Children’s Ministries, and that’s just scratching the surface. Bills are paid, Truth is shared, and the power of the Gospel continues to changes lives. Especially mine!

Through the good times and the hard times, God has grown my faith, strengthened my marriage, helped me raise my kids, and is now blessing my grandchildren. Praise Jesus that I get to do this thing called life with my family of God — all of you!

I can’t wait to see you again!
