Hi, Rock Church ~~ We had an amazing Easter celebration last weekend! All three services were full, there were 17 salvations, 20 baptisms and tons of new people! Celebrating the Resurrection of Jesus together was an incredible blessing.
I have a quick COVID update for you. As you may know, Governor Cox (and the Utah State Legislature) recently passed a bill that will eliminate any mask requirements in the state of Utah (as of April 10, 2021).
This is great news, but means another change to our weekend services protocols. Here is what the pastors have decided and how it will affect The Rock Church:
- We will continue with the same protocols we currently have until the end of April (three more weeks). This means that masks will still be encouraged but not required at our Saturday Service (6:00 p.m.) and our Second Service (11:15 a.m.) on Sundays. Additionally, masks will still be required at our First Service on Sundays (9:30 a.m.).
- On May 1, we will eliminate all mask mandates at The Rock Church. You are free to continue to wear masks, but they will not be required.
- As always, if you feel sick, please stay home and watch online.
That’s it! We wanted to give you a few extra weeks of masks being required (only at the First Sunday Service) for those who feel more comfortable with that. This will help ease us back into a pre-COVID, no mask required scenario.
