Every once in a while, I find myself in just the right place at just the right time. When I do, this verse comes to my mind,
“Who knows if perhaps you were created for such a time as this.“ — Esther 4:14b
I learned this verse from the Old Testament — in the story of Esther and her Uncle Mordecai. I encourage you to read the book of Esther. It’s a treasure of truth, highlighting God’s sovereignty and ability to turn the tables for His glory. Undeniably, God has good plans for us to walk in.
Today, I want you to consider this verse through the lens of opportunity. “Who knows if perhaps you were created for such a time as this.”…We live in a country where we have the freedom to pursue and live out our faith. Because of this, when the opportunity arises, we can talk about our faith and speak His name in almost every situation. I sense that these inalienable rights may be waning, but for right now, in this time and place, they are ours. We get to be ambassadors for Christ in this very day and age.
Opportunities are Waiting
Mission to the City starts this week (July 23 — July 30). “Who knows if perhaps you were created for such a time as this.” Thank you for joining us in this great mission. Even if you haven’t signed up yet, you can still play a vital role; you can be the hands and feet of Jesus.
We have incredible opportunities to live out our faith together. Jesus commanded us to go and make disciples of all nations. Take advantage of MTTC.
