  1. Finding Christ in Christmas Series

Join us at The Rock Church this Christmas season as we discover Finding Christ in Christmas

“She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins. All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet: “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us).” — Matthew 1:21-23

Too often, the true meaning of Christmas gets lost in the hype of the season. With an overload of activities to attend, presents to buy and people to see, we can easily forget what Christmas is truly about. Wouldn’t it be nice to have a reminder of what we’re really celebrating?

  2. The Word of God

The Word of God – a word by Pastor Tony D'Amico from The Rock Church in Draper, UT."As we approach the Word of God, understand it’s living and active. It’s there to help expose the things in our lives that need to be changed."

“For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow.” — Hebrews 4:12a (NLT)

Being in God’s Word is a beautiful thing. As we read the words He has given to us, as they wash over us, they start to transform us (if we let them). The imagery of His words being used as a powerful weapon is incredible. It severs because it’s designed to remove or kill those things in our lives that are hurting us, those around us, and/or our relationship with God.

  3. You and God

You and God – a word by Pastor Billy Johnson from The Rock Church in Draper, UT. "God’s desire for relationship with you is older than the dust that Adam was created out of. You have access to this incredible relationship with God."

Think about this for a few minutes, Christian. God has been waiting for (and looking forward to) relationship with you since before the foundations of the earth.

In other words, God’s desire for relationship with you is older than the stone that David killed Goliath with. It’s older than the mountain that Noah’s Ark came to rest on. It’s older than any dinosaur bone and older than anything in the periodic table of elements. In fact, God’s desire for relationship with you is older than the dust that Adam was created out of. You have access to this incredible relationship with God through His Holy Spirit, who lives in you.

"Come What May" is now available on all streaming platforms.

“Come What May” is The Rock Music’s 2020 offering to the Lord. In a year that has had unbelievable highs and lows (almost daily), we wanted to create a collection of music rooted in the fact that Jesus is in control and He is good. These indie-rock worship songs proclaim that: God is reigning on His throne, the “Word is our refuge and strength” and Jesus’ blood alone can cleanse us “white as snow”. Come what may, He is still God.

“Come What May” is now available on all streaming platforms. You can also stream the EP free from therockmusic.org or on The Rock Church app

  5. Bring Your Kingdom

Bring Your Kingdom – a word by Pastor Steve McInroy from The Rock Church. "Only God can make it happen; He lives inside of us and that’s exactly what He does. As Christians, we share a common mantra — oh Lord, bring your Kingdom!"

Recently, I listened to a teaching that reminded me how good it is to remember that we (as Christians) are citizens of God’s Kingdom. We have a large family in the faith — brothers and sisters in the Lord, all over the world. God’s Spirit is moving and the Gospel is advancing more than ever. Our family is growing, even today!

Jesus talked about the Kingdom more than anything else.

  6. Concentrated Radiation

Concentrated Radiation – a word by Pastor Steele Croswhite from The Rock Church in Draper, UT. "the Son of the Living God walked directly into sin’s most concentrated radiation, allowed Himself to be touched by its curse, and let it take His life."

“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” — Romans 5:8

Recently, I read this story and it freshly reminded me of what Jesus Christ did for us.

“It was May 21, 1946. The place – Los Alamos. A young and daring scientist was carrying out a necessary experiment in preparation for the atomic test to be conducted in the waters of the South Pacific.
